Privacy Notice
How Falcon Channel Research handles personal data under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA, 個人資料保護法).
This notice describes what actually happens on this site. It is written to match the site’s real behaviour, not a template of behaviours it does not have.
Who is responsible for your data
The operator of this site — the sole proprietorship named in the identity block below, represented by its owner — is the collecting entity for every piece of personal information this site receives. Questions about this notice or about your data can be sent to the email address listed there.
What we collect, and what we never collect
The site collects personal information in exactly one place: the inquiry form on the contact page. There, you may submit your name, your email address, an optional phone number, and the text of your question.
We do not run analytics. We do not use advertising pixels. We do not load any third-party script, font or tracker. When you visit any page of this site, no information about your visit is transmitted to any server other than the server that hosts this site.
Why we process it, and on what basis
The information from the inquiry form is used for one purpose: to reply to your inquiry. It is processed on the basis you give us by ticking the checkbox before sending the form — you consent to your message being stored so that we can answer it. Under Articles 19 and 20 of Taiwan’s PDPA, personal data is collected and processed for the specific purpose communicated to the data subject; that purpose is stated here and in the form itself.
Where your form message goes
When you press the send button, your input is transmitted as a POST request to a form handler running on this site’s own domain (/api/inquiry). No marketing service, newsletter tool or third-party CRM sits behind it. Reply handling happens from the office mailbox of the operator named below.
How long we keep it
Form inquiries and the correspondence they lead to are retained for up to twelve months after the last exchange, then deleted. Keeping the record lets us remember which question a follow-up refers to; once the exchange has gone quiet, there is no reason left to hold it. (This retention period is this site’s operating standard; it is not a statutory figure.)
Your rights
Under Taiwan’s PDPA you may request to access, supplement, correct, or request deletion of the personal data this site holds about you, and you may object to its continued processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to the operator at the email address in the identity block below, naming the message you sent. We will act on complete requests within a reasonable time and confirm what was done.
The one thing this site stores in your browser
The cookie banner stores your choice — accept or reject — in your browser’s local storage under the key falconchannel-consent-v1. This value never leaves your device; it is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. The cookies page lists it together with instructions for changing the choice.
Changes to this notice
If the site’s behaviour ever changes, this notice will be reviewed and updated accordingly. Older versions are not archived publicly.
